Dear me.
Amazing resource for anyone trying to understand performance profiles 👏🏻
In my audits, reading the Performance profile is where people get stuck: the flame chart and waterfall look like noise at first I built an interactive guide to make them click, every figure is interactive, plus LCP, CLS, INP and the Insights panel perf.reviews/profile-guide #WebPerf #DevTools

HTML client-side includes anyone? Been hearing y'all asking for this. @nomster.bsky.social sent out an "Intent to Prototype" yesterday that includes this and other things!: groups.google.com/a/chromium.o... More details in the explainer: github.com/WICG/declara... Early days (but exciting days!).

Possibly one of the most impressive Safari bugs I’ve run into lately: Going back (with a swipe) in *any* React app that uses Navigation API freezes the page for three seconds. What’s fun is the main thread is not frozen, only the rendered page is.

What a timeline we live in. If anything they are making more people aware of @countbinface.bsky.social
So they're all taking this really well
💥Nick Robinson to Zia Yusuf: "Do you really think that Nigel Farage's credibility will be re-establshed by fighting Count Binface in a by-election that nobody pays attention to?"
So after spending years posing as a political martyr for being "debanked", we now find out Nigel Farage was also reported by bankers to the National Crime Agency over money laundering concerns, after secretly taking millions of pounds from a crypto billionaire
"Farage was given a deadline of 1pm on Tuesday to respond to the Guardian about this article. He gave a video address at 2pm announcing he would force a byelection in his seat of Clacton-on-Sea."
EXC - The £5m gift to Nigel Farage by a cryptocurrency billionaire was reported to the National Crime Agency by bankers who were concerned it may have been laundered money, the Guardian can reveal. www.theguardian.com/politics/202...
Can't believe the real establishment all this time was Count bin face, and not the people taking millions of pounds as a gift, selling gold/cyptocurrency and constantly on being interviewed by the media, who went to elite private school.
New demo: Animated CSS Grid Layout. codepen.io/bramus/pen/o... Here’s the thing: No View Transitions. No JS at all. Instead, it uses Anchor Positioning to anchor the cell contents to the cell. Then, CSS transitions are used to animate the contents to their new location as the grid re-layouts.
Christiane Amanpour, "Brexit has diminished Britain" "in terms of it's standing in the world and it's economy" "The sunny uplands that Britain will make all these new trade agreements, has nowhere near made up for the loss of trade with the EU"
I genuinely think he would have a Liz Truss breakdown if this happened. He's pretty much half way there already.
Is this where we hear he’s going to defect to the Conservative Party? www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/entry/robert...
This is exactly why we have Pride. Because a few years ago this would have just been a hateful fringe figure - but this is where our politics is heading with a Government that kertows. We will resist. And bring hope (*and* electing progressive politicians.) We will win. 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️

Pretty grim day of news in the industry today, with Salma Alam-Naylor stepping away from developer relations work permanently, Josh Comeau taking a sabbatical from making courses and GSAP’s once-vibrant forums descending into a ghost town. The reason your token guzzler “produces” anything that could be described as “good” is because of the years of […]

Dam I didn't know CSS transforms didn't work when doing HTML in canvas 😭 makes sense, but was hoping to use starting-style and stuff.
What's the safest job in politics right now, and why is it this guy?
Had my holiday been a few hours longer, I would have seen 3 different Prime Ministers resignation speech in Gran Canaria over the last few years.
