According to Tiny Temper on channel 4 rich people are building second kitchens hidden behind their fancy kitchens so that their nice kitchens don't look dirty (aren't used). For the love of god tax the rich.

El-Sayed: "I believe our kids have a right to our tax dollars. I'm about 10 min away from schools that look like they did 50 years ago. Our money should be spent here rather than sent in the form of bombs or tanks to foreign govts, particularly when they are doing most heinous things with them ... "

There is IMO no way out of this without basically firing everyone and replacing them with new hires straight out of education. And that’s not going to happen, so we are looking at *at least* another ten years of this apeshit derangement. At least ten years, just to wash off the worst.

Julie Bindel in 2026 eulogising Rod Liddle, who had a police caution for assaulting his pregnant girlfiend, and Julie Bindel in 2022 saying it's her "duty as a feminist" to point out when a prominent man who died was a domestic abuser. "Gender criticism" rots out any moral core you ever possessed...

My latest blog piece. The shameful anti-SNP hysteria of the British media in Scotland even spins good news into SNPbad as we saw this week with the media response to the news that the pass rate for exams in Scotland has increased for a second year. weegingerdug.wordpress.com/2026/08/05/e...

Even good news is spun into SNPbad by the media in Scotland

It’s often said there are two kinds of people in the world, those who say the glass is half full, and those who say it’s half empty. This is in fact inaccurate as there is a third kind,…

The myth of past greatness is central to fascism, which is the ideology of most mainstream media and, increasingly, most social media. As I have said, facetiously, it starts with Who Remembers Spangles and quickly progresses in a couple of posts to Stop The Boats.

Real, actual Scots, on Social Media, they say, they PREFER the Glasgow, of the 20th Century. They think it was better, in the old days. Immigration has ruined it. Really? What am I missing?

Where might the renowned genius Kemi Badenoch have got the idea that it’s fine to snuggle up with horrifying racist cranks and far right psychos, provided enough newspaper dorks are willing to agree that actually they are committed antiracist anti-extremists, and in fact the victims of prejudice?

Badenoch flailing around now on #r4today trying to defend this idiocy. Babbling incoherent nonsense. Truly woeful that this deeply unpleasant and thoroughly mediocre person is now Tory leader. And a better journalist than Justin Webb would have made that very clear. (Article from iPaper)

25000 Votes can "acknowledge" whatever he likes. He's really paid to protect Israel's and the US's interests and repeat some pish about "The Nation/The Country/Team GB." No one is interested, beyond the English bubble.

Burnham acknowledged that neoliberalism wasn't working for the many and a new economic approach was needed. So Healey carries on with the same made up fiscal rules, more austeriy. Its the same play with different actors.

It's never been so obvious that the Scriveners Guild has their own NATO Article 5—an attack against one is an attack against all. In this case, the response entails forming square around the cadaver of a bloke who repeatedly questioned the illegality of pædophilia & committed domestic violence 🙃.

People on BlueSky are celebrating Rod Liddle's demise

Microsoft: $101 BILLION in profits. $12.5 BILLION in tax breaks. $176 BILLION in stock buybacks. 4,800 workers fired this week. 9,000 workers fired last year. Please don't tell me trickle-down economics works. It never did. Nothing trickles down.

Fuck Andy Burnham, Fuck Labour, Fuck the poisoning of the EHRC, Fuck that mould-ridden crappy climate heating polluting writer, Fuck patriarchy, because transphobia IS patriarchy, Fuck these genitally obsessed creepy fuckers who are all hiding something. Fuck UK fascism presented as centrism.

Our code of practice for services, public functions and associations comes into force today. It provides practical guidance on how the Equality Act 2010 applies to services, public functions and associations. Find out more: https://ow.ly/alIf50Zwrkx

Quote from Dr Mary-Ann Stephenson: 'At the EHRC we want a society where everyone’s rights are respected and realised, so that we can all live well together. Our statutory guidance will help services across the country comply with the Equality Act, protecting service users from discrimination and harassment while reducing the risk of the provider being subject to litigation.

As Britain’s equality regulator, our work doesn’t end upon publication of this guidance. We monitor compliance with the law and take enforcement action where proportionate and necessary, in line with our well-established regulatory model and decision-making framework.'

Sickening sycophantic self-referential crap from the likes of Fraser Nelson, Michael Gove, Andrew Neil, Trevor Phillips, Kathleen Stock, Julie Bindel & many more. Abusing people, belittling them & being convicted of assaulting your partner all count for little. We see you.

It does seem odd that Epstein was able to directly suborn at least one serving government minister, while flying his private plane in and out of military bases in Britain and visiting e.g. Buckingham Palace and one of the royal family’s private retreats. Presumably nothing dodgy going on there.

Burnham not considering public inquiry into UK activities of Jeffrey Epstein

Victims’ minister said earlier that PM was ‘looking into’ inquiry into Epstein and another into Mohamed Al Fayed

This is a repeated pattern Burnham has already displayed - portraying environmental protection and economic prosperity as zero sum, sacrificing one for the other. It might be canny short term politics, but it’s a horrible message that validates the culture messaging of the climate deniers
