9% imperial brown ale that aged in a 10 gallon former bourbon barrel that last held maple syrup. It ended with a sour bug in it. Brewed in 2024 but finally kegged it off. Bretty with notes of maple, chocolate, caramel. Very easily hides the ABV. #beersky #homebrewing

NBA is rigged! when Spurs had 29 point lead the game should have been immediately stopped and Spurs declared winner. Instead officials decides to play "4th quarter?" and Knicks "somehow" score enough baskets to win. Fraud!

This Georgian brewing tradition seems very old and distinctive. Interestingly, they do use hops, but they don’t seem to have lauter tuns.

Took home a gold for an altbier at the Alabama Beer Cup. Also a gold for a cyser made with uncle johns heirloom blend cider and gibbons farm wild sunflower honey.
Silver 🥈 for my red flesh otterson heirloom cider, gold for my experimental sake cream ale, thanks to @steven-l-clark.bsky.social for the inspiration . Drunk Monk is one of the biggest homebrew competitions in the country and my first gold in this comp.
