Tonight in D&D: I finally got to reveal that the plane the party has been in for the last 6 sessions (and 1.5 weeks of in-game time) is Ravenloft. They also now have 1 charge on their Amulet of the Planes to get home, but they're also fairly invested in the turmoil in the realm.

I am pretty sure my only two D&D characters are - deconstructing divine/primal caster - operator with a heart of gold who gets in his own way by overplanning For other TTRPGs - skills guy, old - skills guy, young - let's try this weird magic option

My favorite TTRPG classes: 1: Very heroic and good but also very evil vibes 2: Actually Dr. Herbert West in a fake mustache 3: The Dude 4: Spoony Bard w/extra spoon 5: Axe Lesbian

I had a lot of audio fun in this episode, in some goofy ways but you do have to get to near the end to listen to it. But honestly? We had a lot of fun recording this one! If you are excited for Evercold, please give it a listen. The future of FFXIV is bright, I really am Looking Forward To It.

Hello Adventurers! We're back from FanFest with a whole new episode, talking about our trip to Anaheim but mostly out excitement for the new FFXIV expansion that was announced: Evercold! www.osmcast.com/2026/05/the-... #FFXIV #Evercold #FFXIVFanFest @en.finalfantasyxiv.com

I've run two sessions of The Wildsea TTRPG and I have really enjoyed the system. (To be fair, I need to I refresh myself on the rules so I've been playing very fast and loose.) I've hardly had to do any crunchy GM prep, just kind of think about the factions involved and what they're up to.

Tonight in D&D: Make an Intelligence (Arcana) check to see if it would be a good idea to harvest meat from the Fiendish Lovecraftian tentacled monstrosities.

I am still listening back through this. I don't remember where we came down but I remember it required some negotiation on the final ranking to avoid ending friendships. (I'm not sure how much I'm kidding about that.)

Cover art for the OSMcast! & The Carbuncle Chronicle's episode "The Great Final Fantasy Ranking!"

It features the OSMcast! and The Carbuncle Chronicle logo placed over an amalgamation of screenshots from all the Final Fantasy games, with some color filters and perspective shifts to give them some pop as a background.

Episode 200! It only look us *checks notes*... 17+ years? That doesn't seem right. But what's always good, correct, and never wrong? Re: Cutie Honey! It was our 5th episode, our 1st anime episode, and now our 200th episode. Now that's just quality anime right there. www.osmcast.com/2025/12/osmr...
