My friends and I all care about each others’ lives and passions. I’m making my game mostly for them, so hopefully they still care by the end
If you're a creative person, do you have friends and family that actually care about anything you make?
The games industry: “We have to raise the price of everything because storage is expensive” Also the games industry: “We hope you have a ton of storage cause we’re getting rid of discs”
this tweet is almost 6 years old to the date. when will the games industry figure it out?
Why would you pay $80 for GTA VI and get one game when you could buy UFO 50 for $25 and get fifty games

Look. I’m not against AI as a coding tool (very anti-AI for anything else though). But Github is blaming their recent outages on an explosion of growth due to AI code, while also selling a sub to their own AI product, while also struggling to make said product profitable.
the demo alone landed STICKER/BALL somewhere on my GOTY list, everyone please play
STICKER/BALL, my chaotic pool roguelike for the insane, is OUT NOW 🎉🎈 - throw balls - hit silly stickers - trigger huge combos - unlock run modifiers - go again (and again!)
This is disgusting. I just want to live in peace with my wife, dog, and cats. But every day I wake up and wonder if my country is about to obliterate another one for no reason.
BREAKING: Trump on Iran: a whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again. I don't want that to happen, but it probably will.
i don’t like that he’s here, why is he here, someone get him away from the kids
Incredible scene: Travelers wait on hours-long security line at George Bush International Airport in Houston while Lee Greenwood’s “God Bless the USA” blasts through the speakers. (video shared directly with me)

Slay the Spire 2's concurrent Steam players just hit 179,456, the highest ever for any roguelike. When StS1 first launched back in 2017, it had 193 concurrent players. That's a 92,982% increase, meaning StS3 is on track to hit 166,861,777 concurrent players by 2035. 💪

I tried my hand at redoing Browt and Pombon. Not great but the real designs feel just a little lacking

The AI bubble RAM crisis is caused for non-existent problems by non-existent money for a non-existent infrastructure to meet non-existent demand to make non-existent business and will utterly destroy real business based on real demand and real infrastructure built with real money for real problems.
I understand framing the AI bubble RAM supply crisis in terms of stuff like video game consoles because nerds can conceptualize that but the framing does really undersell the sheer magnitude of how it's going to fuck up everything that even touches a computer.
My cat Noodle is sick today, going to the vet soon. Please send him some love
The only thing that would replace my Steam Deck LCD is a Steam Deck “2.0” with OLED, better battery, and mildly better performance on larger games. Until then, I’m using the OG every day, I love it so much.
We're so used to products depreciating in terms of value, performance, quality, etc. all the time. three and a half years in and my steam deck is doing just fine, thanks. Maybe soon it could use a battery replacement but such is the fate of all things using lithium ion batteries.
jumping into a giant pit in Tears of the Kingdom, day one. sure it was theorized, but I somehow avoided those theories. I was amazed at the scale of that game, and how Nintendo somehow kept that out of marketing.
tell me about a time you were awed by a set piece in a video game. not a story beat, not an emotional moment or a cool mechanic, but something just There, in the world, that made your jaw drop or sent a chill up your spine

While not nearly the most important thing going on, I wrote some jokes about why this year AI in video games is going to be the absolute most annoying debate. Even more annoying than it already is. Just deeply annoying.
2026 Is Going To Be The Year AI in Gaming Gets Super Annoying
Gaming needs to be clear about how, and why, it's using AI
