The EU has labeling & transparency law for AI! ooh ahh Unless you're a cop or court using AI - then you do *not* need to know an AI generated what you are looking at. If you arrest or shoot or convict a person because you believed AI: 🤷‍♀️ 🤷‍♂️ 🤷‍♀️ 🤷‍♂️ 🤷‍♀️ 🤷‍♂️ 🤷‍♀️ 🤷‍♂️ 🤑 🤷‍♀️ 🤷‍♂️

From EU Article 50: Transparency obligations for providers and deployers of certain AI systems

https://ai-act-service-desk.ec.europa.eu/en/ai-act/article-50

AI systems used by police and prosecutors to investigate and prosecute crime don't have to tell their users it's AI.

Paragraph 1:
1. Providers shall ensure that AI systems intended to interact directly with natural persons are designed and developed in such a way that the natural persons concerned are informed that they are interacting with an AI system, unless this is obvious from the point of view of a natural person who is reasonably well-informed, observant and circumspect, taking into account the circumstances and the context of use. This obligation shall not apply to AI systems authorised by law to detect, prevent, investigate or prosecute criminal offences, subject to appropriate safeguards for the rights and freedoms of third parties, unless those systems are available for the public to report a criminal offence.

one thing about the stupid hammer approach to RTO is that it polarized a lot of people into believing that everyone should have the option to WFH 100%, which often isn’t in the best interests of the company *or* worker, but i can’t blame anyone who ended up there, the bosses threw the first punch

i am not convinced that full time remote works for everyone, i am not even convinced it works for most people, but when employers refuse to do the work to make coming into work productive and valuable for those workers, i don’t blame the workers who prefer to stay home, i blame the bosses

TikTok has incredible moderation team. Our InfoWars video about Multiple Horse Theory — the idea that there are many horses in the world and not just one — has been fully deemed misinformation and lost the formal appeals process. Confirmed by Larry Ellison: There is only one horse on Earth.

writing explanations of all the AI caveats I can remember, for some smart people who seem like they might need the info, but whose POV isn't visible against the boiling ocean behind them i am human
