You have to like me because I am holding my cat and they'll get scared if they sense hostility

hmm, i've about had it with the bloor street "car lanes" experiment. literally no one uses these things. how can businesses expect to survive when there's no space for customers to linger?

A commercial street in old Toronto with two bike lanes, two general traffic lanes, and a row of parallel parking. Apart from some parked cars and a bicyclist, the street is mostly empty. Oncoming cars are visible in the distance.

I understand the principle that no prospect is really as good as any current big-league player but it seems, a bit weird, to be trading off the only exciting prospect in the organization for a starter while also trading away a good starter for nothing

Throughout history all hats looked like shit until we got the Soviet ushanka, then femme fatale big hats, and then the blue jays cap in quick succession. Then we broke the unions and the USSR and privatized everything and development stopped. That's the 20th century for you

the blue Jays city connect sucks. The skyline has nothing to do with living in the city. To embody Toronto the front should have a chart of average house prices over the past 20 years and the back should have photos of all the good restaurants that have been shut down by landlords

Callout post for The Mountain Goats: Doc Gooden looked bad against the blue jays twice in 1999 - June 22nd and October 1st. The first game was *after* playing in seattle; the second was the last series of the year. In future please say "looked bad 4 days from now against the blue jays."

Baseball is always a game of luck which comes and goes. If any team is on a streak like the blue jays which seems to defy luck where every possible thing that could go against you does, remember: an unweighted die eventually falls fair, so this streak proves god is real and personally spiting me

biden dementia: the fact of the matter is there was NOTHING wrong with aunt diane. i saw that film. the point is it could happen to anyone. i'm sorry trump dementia (wet mouth, whispery tone): the big buford. can they you believe they call it that? it's an arrogant burger.

When you “Like” and “Repost” my great posts here on Bluesky it is like I am a “Deer” and you are giving me a “Deer Biscuit”.

I've spent the better part of the last 12 years being told that Dark Souls II is this critically flawed, lesser game, only to see it be slowly redeemed. I was right when I reviewed it. I'm right now. For @aftermath.site: fuck the haters, Dark Souls II is (still) good. aftermath.site/dark-souls-i...

They Could Never Make Me Hate Dark Souls II

I have spent over a decade being told that Dark Souls II is bad. But history has vindicated the game, and I never let the haters win.

Hater week isn't over. I got one more in the quiver.

It's cool that trans people are mad at tim hortons for doing a harry potter thing, everyone's mad at tim hortons for exploiting temporary foreign workers (either for labour rights reasons on the left, and on the right they just don't want someone from india handling their coffee,) and also it is bad
