Why, yes. I am, in fact, grinding out getting all the Terminus Weapon drops before starting Endless Ragnarok. Is this rational? Of course not. But here we are.
If you love weird, quirky little horror indies with a real feeling of 90s verisimilitude to it, I genuinely encourage you to look into this game. As things currently stand, this is my favorite indie title to release this year, and studios making unique stuff like this should be celebrated.

It feels great getting back into Granblue Fantasy Relink, but boy do I have a lot of grind ahead of me. Still can't quite clear Bahamut on Proud, but I'm getting a better idea of how the fight goes. This game is such a good action RPG. Really hoping they continue either with more DLC or a sequel.

Arkane Studios man, and all the boys and girls they've worked with over the years... Just fucking ridiculous how good they're art is, and always has been. I can pull up any random file, and it will be some GOAT level piece.
As someone who grew up as a lifelong Playstation gamer, this is one of the worst decisions that Sony has ever made within the gaming space. Physical media is essential for preservation, and this will result in so much being lost to history 20 years down the line. Guess I'm done buying Playstation.

When you really think about it, this whole thing tracks when you remember that the so-called great negotiator needed to have someone ghostwrite his book on negotiation. Almost like we could have seen something like all this coming from several decades away. Huh. Fancy that.
Another day, another time I shout to the void that developers, writers, and artists all deserve so much better than what the industry gives. My heart goes out to the many studio members whose worth is being overlooked this week by executives who value money over people and creativity.
Bears repeating after seeing the final story beat... Destiny 2, along with its developers, writers, creatives, and voice actors, deserved so much better than Bungie's leadership and Sony. As someone who was deeply critical of the last year of the game, what an incredible moment to end on.
Decided this year to get into Cosmere. So far I've read Mistborn 1-3, Elantris, and Tress of the Emerald Sea. It's been fascinating to see how the various threads of this universe interconnect so far. Taking a brief break with Cibola Burn, but I'm excited to start The Stormlight Archive next.

Pool opened up at our complex for the summer, and so the rules got sent out to us in an email. I realize that this is likely an error caused by whatever they used for dictation, but I think it's way funnier to believe that the management company decided to establish thoughtcrime.

Destiny as an IP has been a victim of mismanagement for so many years by Bungie's exec suite. My heart goes out to the developers on the ground who made cool things, and fought against bad leadership to bring players other cool things that never made it into the game. You shot for the stars.
