It's honestly sad how much media literacy has declined the past several years, thanks largely in part due to social media algorithms. Especially on YouTube and Twitter where constant negativity and bad faith engagement are rewarded.

The wrong person giving you critique will have you fighting with your own creativity, leaving you mentally unwell. Especially if you don't have enough people around you encouraging your art
