#TodayInQueerHistory August 24 (1945) Marsha P Johnson (born #OTD) is one of our community's most revered icons; driving the gay rights movement at Stonewall, helping homeless trans youth with STAR and in 1980 she was invited to lead NYC's Pride parade. She was even a muse for Andy Warhol!
