I did a thing :D First chapter of my PhD out now! 🌱 (first paper ever 🥳) Traits are historically hypothesized to age synchronously, but it is no longer the case. We quantified asynchronous ageing in Seychelles warblers and reviewed potential reasons for why this may be.

Always share a data dictionary along with your data so that people aren't guessing what a variable represents. There are many options for creating one (see thread for examples). Choose which one works best for you and share it alongside your data files. :)

Question for stats users/open scientists. Interesting discussion from today's @sortee.bsky.social code club. Has there been any work looking into the variation of stochastic results with different set.seeds()? Is it possible for results to change if seed# changes, presumably at low sample sizes?
