In any rational and functional democracy, this would be obvious. Unfortunately, I think we live in the reality that the establishment Democratic party shares an ideological project with AIPAC that runs deeper than partisan loyalties.

This should be the end of the Democratic Party’s relationship with AIPAC. Promising to help elect a far-right Republican in November in a critical state, potentially keeping the Senate in Trump’s hands…. Come on. Democrats need to recognize this organization for what it is.

42 Democrats just joined 192 Republicans to reauthorize FISA Section 702 – a warrantless surveillance law that's been used to access Americans' data. Democratic leadership did not whip their members, enabling them to vote with Republicans and give Trump the surveillance powers.

Great new stat from @senatebudget.bsky.social: of the $140 billion that Trump & Republicans gave ICE & CBP in the Big Beautiful Bill, $103 billion is still unobligated as of the end of March. Now they’re asking for another $70 billion even though about 75% of the OBBBA money still remains unused.
