Just muddling along. Banner: The Conjuror by Hieronymus Bosh (1502) - an allegory for our time.

Anyone meeting with Netanyahu on friendly terms after the ICC issued an arrest warrant for him over war crimes and crimes against humanity has no place in government, in any country and at any capacity. Vote them out.

Neoliberalism in a nutshell. UEFA on FIFA's proposal: “The moment external investors acquire ownership interests ... football changes forever. Commercial return becomes a permanent obligation. ... Every decision is no longer driven by what best serves the game, but by what best serves shareholders.”

Greed's taken over. As the mother of a type I diabetic child, the stories from the US horrify me. People having to ration their insulin use due to cost considerations in a country as wealthy as the US is nothing less than a scandal & a complete indictment of a healthcare system not fit for purpose.

Bordeaux, France, has now recorded more days above 40°C in 2026 alone than during the entire 105-year period from 1920 (when observations began) to 2025. This is deeply shocking.

Outgoing Senators John Cornyn and Thom Tillis are reportedly undecided about Todd Blanche's nomination for AG. A single GOP "No" vote in committee this Thursday could tank Blanche's nomination entirely. Call and tell them to reject Blanche: (202) 224-3121

The two people who are breaking through the noise and cutting through to the essence of what is happening right now with deeply damaged Donald Trump are Jon Ossoff and Hunter Biden. Here is Hunter's very perceptive take on the messy scene at the White House Correspondents Dinner:

Marco Rubio is against birthright citizenship. But Marco Rubio *is* a birthright citizen. Ted Cruz is against birthright citizenship. But Ted Cruz was born in Canada. He only got US citizenship by a birthright citizenship law because of his US mother. They are both shameless hypocrites.

This could be this country if certain people ever got anywhere near power. The presentation of history and heritage must be based on truth and transparency, not shaped to fit a government's agenda or selective interpretation of the past. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

I doubt we can stop the complete destruction of Palestinians before we name that project as such. I do not see hope to end Israel's expansionism without coming to terms with its settler colonial nature. I do not see a possibility to stop the ongoing Nakba before recognising the 1948 Nakba.

The political project of Israel's government is the elimination of Palestinians from Gaza (and eventually between the river and sea). Their actions and words all point in that direction, and that has remained unchanged. Beyond the question of how you call it, we need to recognise it for what it is.

If you’re wondering why UK press has suddenly woken up to Farage, please read this. It’s because: Brexit. The r/w press refused to scrutinise the money behind Farage & the lawsuit against me scared off the rest. But this isn’t a new scandal. It’s the same one I’ve been reporting on for a decade

NEW: Who funds Nigel Farage? And why has it taken till now for any journalistic scrutiny? @carolecadwalla.bsky.social who has tracked him for a decade exposes how the UK press & regulators looked the other way 🧵👇

Farage the money launderer and me: a decade of denial

NEW: Why would Nigel Farage & George Cottrell share the same lawyer? In @thenerve_news we revealed that the Reform donor under investigation by the NCA & the Reform leader under investigation by Parliamentary Standards share the same Carter Ruck lawyers. Why? 1/l
