I found it odd how folks kept describing ONE NIGHT ONLY as a PURGE-type film and thought it was just a joke. WHAT DO YOU MEAN THAT'S REALLY THE BACKGROUND ON THE FILM. HOW IS THAT NOT MORE PROMINENT IN THE MARKETING?!?!?

Was supposed to cover a Fantasia title but ran into an issue with it and pivoted to the new POPEYE 4K UHD edition releasing later this month. Haven’t watched this since the Blu-ray released Dec 2020. (Incidentally, I watched it the night before @entityflux.bsky.social went into labor with BD2.)

Here is my offering to the discourse: Gods don’t make heroes, people do — and in the recitation of their deeds, tend to forget, remove, or gloss over the victims of the choices when said person is raised into notoriety.
When @entityflux.bsky.social makes special meals (tonight is homemade pizza), I try to put on movies to distract the kids and that she knows well enough to vibe with as she cooks. Such a silly and sweet film.

In our own tests, we added a “bomb blast and crater” to an area of Los Angeles. This is a misinformation time bomb, will 100% be abused www.404media.co/google-earth...
Writers, stop using Gen AI products. In addition to the many other reasons it sucks (tech based on theft, tool of fascism, makes your brain soft) if you are found out, companies that might've wanted to republish you internationally, adapt for film/TV, etc., will label you a lawsuit risk & walk away.
