I just want to say, I really appreciate all of you who have offered to pay for things for me and my family in these trying times. People bought me games for my birthday and a couple of others have sent money or cards to help with other things. I hope I can repay the favor one day soon. <3

So my book club read a book back in Feb that was the start of a series. I loved it, so I recommended it to my friends. Who have now both read the whole series. I've still only read the first book (despite buying all of them). It's just funny to me. XD

So yesterday I had that awful morning and felt like death. I decided I needed to change the pattern of my day. So I drank an energy drink late and stayed up last night to write. I didn't get much *actual words on papet* done but I did go through my first draft and mark the cut parts.

Every book on my kid's 8th grade reading list was pure misery and death. Every book was heavy and dark and challenging to read. Of course, trying to talk to his teacher, I learned their name was Sinestro (really) and turns out it's WEIRDLY accurate. Anyway, thank goodness for Andrew Rowe.

I swear to God, part of the problem of literacy is that we make kids read SO MANY books like this. Of course they’re going to associate reading with misery! We put them in a Skinner box and shock them when they read, what did people THINK would happen?

Hey! I can give a few keys of The Abbess Garden (store.steampowered.com/app/3411970/...) if you want to play and don't have the money :) Either by pm for mutuals or contact@mdstudiogames.com 🌸 The game is not expensive, but I know times are tough, and hopefully some time in a garden could help 🌿

It's the most bizarre thing. Taylor catches strays for tons of shit she doesn't do or tries to do the right way. Then an article hits that she *should* be talked about in (MIDNIGHTS IS INCOMPLETE!) and she's not mentioned. Anyway, give us the GotY edition. The directors cut. The Taylors Versions.

I had no idea that records have the video game problem, where what's pressed to the disc is missing content and fixes that are in the final digital version. Except you can't get a day one patch for vinyl! www.theguardian.com/music/2026/a...

You know what bugs me the *most* about seeing products that clearly were a factory error that just didn't get caught by QA? When I was a kid one of my friend's moms worked at a cannery. Every time something messed up and a bunch of product that was janky got made, they wrote it off and gave -

That said, let us take a moment to thank our Bluesky Trans and Furry Elders for freaking out Jack Dorsey so much he bolted and left us this nice social media playground, taking most of his crypto chuds with him. We thank you for your service.

"Why can't you just appreciate how revolutionary the job-taking, environment-degrading, information-shredding, technology-hoarding, economy-swamping machine is?" My brother in Christ, there may indeed be a revolution in part because of "AI," but it might not be the one you wanted.
