given the opportunity to chill I would fumble it affably and soon perish. Philly

carving a 167 gram madagascan aquamarine crystal locked in a car parked in a lot outside a grocery store two pm early august availed of battery powered rotary tools and a sixer of ginger ales in twelve oz glass bottles

i work in front of people most days and sometimes they’ll ask, “can i watch you work?” but often they’ll just stand and stare. So i like to a sneak a slow, appraising grab of a chisel in. hold it up and say something breathless like, “japanese craftsmanship…” ($4 big box store chisel i’ve mangled)

this is how i ended up taking contact improv classes. and probably won’t go backunless a friend invites me. i’ll eventually stop doing things i don’t like, but im a sucker for activity generally. my house was a save point only for 2 years and I was always out except to shower change eat and sleep

friends that invite you to things and then don’t go are incredible doorways. i’m always trying to do it to people i like. you might call it flaking but with some people who like being outside it’s thrilling. and it’s shameful immediately but then funny and so true to say, “i didn’t want to go,”

i’ve stopped scrutinizing what shape airplanes are at all. always passing overhead. and one day i’ll look up and see a curvy one and feel a pain in my chest and die of falling disease

spirit sealed within a fast food drive thru intercom system asking, “What do you want? What can i get you? How can i help you?” and populating the vacuum from there. As businesses come and go. Then a pharmacy. I cannot find the end of desire

wish that amazon delivery people were more psychically aggressive and present but i detect the job is more of a gig or contract situation and they don’t patina the same way a ten year ups delivery person does

hearing a guy tow a brush thresher with a tractor thru a year’s worth of scrub, where people have been dumping furniture and residential debris, hearing him hit particle board shelving and pot metal brackets and pulp it all. by the railroad tracks. i’m sitting by some thistles nearby reading

hair caught on fire today because i was welding overhead and my lucious curls balloon from the edges of my helmet. but also my helmet is plastic and melts as well. it does not reek for hours like my hair does
