More oc posting to come, his background is taking shape #art #ocsky #OC:Keir

Fullbody portrait of my character Keir, wearing purple and burgundy armor and cape, sitting on a blue skull in the style of Alphonse Mucha. The purple and blue creature in the background is a creation of necromancy, tusked and partially obscured by a brown-green willow tree.

Still scratching folders for art I haven't posted yet, and I realized I never showed this one- Here's Kol Fikod, a fire genasi / dwarf cleric! They were made as a NPC for my campaign and I got attached~ #dwarf #cleric #dnd #dungeonsanddragons #oc

A digital illustration depicting a cellshaded portrait of a character over a plain grey background. The character has tan skin and brown hair, with some fiery spikes on one side of their face. They have whiskers above their ears. They are wearing a black metal armor that has fire underneath, with some vents irradiating smoke.

I came close to ruining this, but I brought it back from the brink with gouache and color pencils 👌 My issue was that simply rendering it felt not "enough," I wanted to experiment more and have something more abstracted, but most of that just made a mess (which was mostly fixable).

Julie Dillon@juliedillon.bsky.social · 2w ago

Initial watercolor wash! I made a few adjustments to the pose digitally before printing the sketch onto my watercolor paper. Lets see if I can finish it without ruining it, lol 🫣

Rare new art featuring Karrah, my air genasi / dragonkin artificer/wizard! Being a bit more unsettling than usual because it is a necromancer after all. Very proud of this one (shares appreciated) (new art's been hard health aint helping!) . #gothic #halloween #dndart #originalcharacter #necromancer

A digital illustration featuring a character holding a skull with a gothic ornate background. The character has grey skin, large downward ears, horns, blue eyes, tusks and white hair that cascades on their back, framing them. It has one prosthetic arm made of ornate brass segments, with an elaborate sun-shaped shoulderpad that is emitting smoke, wrapping itself in it. The skull is clawed. The character is glancing towards the viewer.

I thought this was a nice video; focusing your art not just on technique or skill, but on what things interest and fascinate you, and using art to explore and transform those interests into something meaningful and unique to you. youtu.be/07zE5uSlM1M?...

A pencil drawing of a hare surrounded by a coiled snake. An arrow pierces the head of the snake, which begins to unravel. The hare has dodged both the arrow and the foils and fangs of the snake.

More Siegmundposting because I'm so hyped for them this Sunday!! I had so much fun with the titanium quartz horn situation for this one :D It's still one of my fave portraits #ttrpg #dnd #tiefling #drow #characterdesign

A digital illustration featuring a painted portrait. The character depicted has dark warm purple skin, pointed ears, four horns made out of titanium quartz, crystalline spikes and hair arranged in box braids, in a bun. They have orange eyes. They are looking towards the viewer. The background is starry.

A messy sketch I did of Relent just to mess around with brushes (and to let myself get carried away with thick shadows!) #sketch #wip #doodle #ocsky #dnd

A sketch in black and white with a thick black shaded style. It consists of a portrait of a character with smoking hair and crystals growing out of his face, gazing directly into the viewer with a serious expression. He has a big shoulderpad and is wearing a tunic.

brood parasitism

A comic about my OC, Elowen, and her backstory.

Panel 1 shows a crib with hints of blood in it. The text reads: "There was always something wrong with you."

Panel 2 shows Elowen as a child looking up at the speakers blood covering her mouth and nightgown. The text reads: "Are you even my child?"

Panel 3 zooms out from panel 2, except Elowen is looking down at the ground, face shrouded by her hair. She holds a bloody pick in her hand as the carnage trails down her gown. The text reads: "Are you a child at all?"

Panel 4 shows Elowen's mother crying and leaning against the borders of the art, her fingertips covered in blood. The final open panel beside her features text that reads: "I don't know what I am either."

star snatcher (Polar Lights 4, 2026) #art #sciArt #birdArt 🎨

Illustration of a flying long-tailed jaeger, a dark and robust seabird with a white chest, faintly yellow throat, and a black-capped head. The bird pauses at the zenith of its skyward flight, its beak open as if to grab a blue star hanging in the sunset sky. It is framed by towering clouds whose edges are brushed a peachy orange by the setting sun.
