Pretty sure when you win the election it's a big election night. Pretty sure when your party's leadership all endorses the loser, it means the leadership is out of touch with the electorate.

the not so hidden agenda of initiatives like this is to make joining girls’ sports so burdensome that nobody participates, thus destroying girls’ sports and Title IX in the process

I made dinner for my abuser a bunch of times. You have to play nice while you're planning your escape so you don't get dead. Max Miller is a textbook abuser.
Temperamentally pro-Israel liberals have to grapple with the fact that they, not pro-Palestine people, have held the reins of government in the US, UK, France, Canada, Germany, Italy, etcetera for decades and decades and they did absolutely nothing to bring about "two-states".

Cy Catwell@pixelatedlenses.bsky.social · 3w agoI got a verdict today: after ten weeks, the state of WA is denying my unemployment, leaving me with an amount in the negative (currently at -$120) and more legwork to do to try and stay afloat while I make an appeal and try to survive until then. Calling again for very immediate aid:

Haley Stevens is a true Michigander, in the sense that she increasingly talks and acts like an I Think You Should Leave character
It's especially galling that Haley Stevens is portraying herself as the great protector of the Jews in her campaign against a Muslim candidate, given that in 2022 she beat a wonderful Jewish Congressman in a costly primary in part by accusing him of being insufficiently pro-Israel.

Also seems like it is happening mostly to Arabs and Muslims. Wonder if there's a reason. I do not think it will help Democratic Party perception among Middle Easterner Americans if the two most prominent Muslim nominees have noticeably less-than-enthusiastic support from their party leadership.
I have in just the past few weeks met two different people who assumed Haley Stevens is actually Jewish based on the way she talks about Jews, and then were very surprised when they found out she is not.
