Endo Group
@endogroup.bsky.social
Research group led by @kenichiendo.bsky.social at the University of Stuttgart. We work on synthesis of MOFs and COFs as well as their catalytic applications. https://www.ipoc.uni-stuttgart.de/pcmc/ https://www.instagram.com/endo.group.stuttgart
Dr. Zarfishan Dilruba (right) has joined our group as a postdoc. Welcome and let's dive together into MOCOF chemistry and catalysis research!
We presented our recent paper about data management of MOF synthesis at the NFDI4Chem meeting. We enjoyed deep discussion about many aspects of data publication and usage!
We are celebrating a fantastic start to our Consortium Meeting 7.0 🚀 The programme features exciting keynote speeches and discussions about the work over the next three years, as well as meetings with our Advisory Boards. A meeting was also held with representatives from other consortia. 😍
New paper out! Have you ever been irritated by enigmatic paragraphs of a MOF synthesis procedure or had difficulties in preparing a clean data set for machine learning? We demonstrated efficient data management of MOF synthesis data using JSON schema tools. pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/...
Data Management and Analysis of Metal–Organic Framework Synthesis Using Data Models
The successful synthesis of metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) in high yield and purity critically depends on the details of the procedure. Therefore, the machine-readable as well as findable, accessible...

Last month we said goodbye to our postdoc @msingh93.bsky.social as he becomes an assistant professor in Japan. Thank you, Manpreet, for working with us! Congratulations and all the best for your next stage!
Hello everyone, I am pleased to share that I have joined the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, Tokyo Metropolitan University, (Tokyo Metropolitan University - 東京都立大学) as an Assistant Professor starting today. I am excited about this new chapter and the opportunities ahead.
These heat sealing tongs and compound foil are useful to transport air-sensitive samples for advanced measurements
Thanks to our technician, the vacuum system of a Schlenk line was refreshed to hold a nice vacuum. High vacuum helps out anaerobic synthesis of COFs and organic molecules.
We have installed a new high-power benchtop centrifuge. It will help collection and rinsing of MOF particles.
A new convection oven has been installed! The multi-step temperature programming feature will enable us to control MOF crystal growth.
We attended the 37th German Zeolite (and other porous materials) Conference and exchanged fresh results and ideas! @akashdeshpande.bsky.social @kenichiendo.bsky.social
Today was the last working day of the year at our university. Happy holidays and see you in the next year!
We welcomed our first postdoc, Dr. Manpreet Singh, last week! He will leverage his rich experiences with #MOFs for our CO2 hydrogenation thermocatalysis project together with @esteslab.bsky.social and @crc1333.bsky.social
New device arrived at our group! Leica CPD300 critical point dryer, capable of automatic supercritical CO2 treatment. Useful for removing solvents from MOFs and COFs without affecting the framework structure.
📣 Severin Haid & @akashdeshpande.bsky.social are the new #CRC1333 doctoral reps, succeeding Alina Bauer & Martina Paetsch. Thanks to Alina & Martina for their amazing work, and welcome Severin & Akash! ▶️ More: 🔗 bit.ly/3LejtNI #sfb1333 #catalysis

Our member @akash-deshpande.bsky.social is learning Python for batch data analysis, nowadays a common tool even for wet chemists.
🤩 Day 1 of the graduate course by our #CRC 1333 and #SimTech guest Prof. Johann Rohwer from Stellenbosch University. Today is for laying the Python ground work!
The first PhD student, Mr. Akash Deshpande, joined our group today. Let's sail to the new chemistry land together!
As it is not only me anymore, I have created my group account!
