I don't often sign/share petitions but having watched the briefing a few weeks ago I truly believe that it needs to be shown on prime time terrestrial TV right across the UK. Please consider signing - we need this information to be widely known.

This is horrific. Highway workers have always had abuse (I once had a bottle of piss thrown at me) but this is taking it to a new level 🙄

RTC then attempted to intimidate the highway staff into no longer removing flags by repeating their addresses to them.
For the 5th consecutive year child casualties have flat-lined at around 13,000 road casualties of age 16 and under. In what other area of life would the death or injury of 13,000 children be "acceptable"? The government has a Road Safety Strategy that aims to reduce child KSIs by 70%.

These include 42 killed and 2,357 seriously injured, a number little changed from a decade earlier. Most were not killed or injured in front of schools but in the rest of the road network.
Looks like we still won't get any rain down here on the south coast! 😩 It has been WEEKS now since we had any. On the plus side, it's nice leaving my garden furniture cushions outside all the time. On the downside, the garden is burnt to a crisp and the planet is burning. Ho hum.

More needs to be made of the fact that fuel duty has been frozen since 2011 PLUS an additional 5p CUT (which was supposed to be temporary) since 2022. At enormous cost to the country.
