Definitely some friendly banter between the protagonists, and not a meeting of two scheming villains.
I just reinstalled and booted this up last weekend to take a dive into "The Random," which is the closest any randomizer dungeon has ever come to Lufia 2's Ancient Cave. Delightful game, expertly paced world mystery narrative, tightly packed job system.

Haha this was a fun game I played the OG a couple years ago on stream & it was one of the few games to bring me to tears from laughing multiple times Still laugh when the clips play when someone shouts me out on Twitch

One of the greatest Final Fantasy fangames of all time. It's an incredible feat to create something that feels like it genuinely belongs to the series it is imitating. UPRC's poured so much time, effort, and passion into this game and it SHOWS! 5/5 Stars!

It pains me to see Rhell (closest thing we've had to a spiritual Scribblenauts successor) in a cheap bundle already... but there's a TON of great stuff here. Get Rhell, Metro Exodus (even includes the expansions!), Citizen Sleeper, Disco Pup, Scarmonde - hell, there's not much bad in here.
