We're building a pillbug terrarium in grade 3 so I've spent some time today in the world of isopod hobbyists. 👀 These are rubber ducky isopods. They're on sale at a local shop for $11. EACH! Our roly polies will be scooped up from my patio. FOR FREE! Then again, these little ones are pretty cute...

Seeing replies here and elsewhere saying the sea turtles in California are a bad sign, and it is and it isn’t. Yes, it’s a sign that climate change is affecting species and ecosystems (bad). But it’s also a sign that species are shifting their ranges to track areas of climatic suitability (good).
