I'm in group chats where trans people without the funds in America are debating whether to try and walk into Canada as illegal immigrants and just roll the dice they'll be safe and welcome. It's vital that we have a network in place in the UK before we need it.

EHRC code to come into force on August 5th Minister for Women and Equalities Bridget Phillipson made the order this week. The UK equality and human rights watchdog's code of practice that recommends the segregation of Trans+ people in UK public life will come into force on August 5.

We have had a busy day gutting the top floor of the building that will become our short-term emergency accommodation location, essecamp equipment stores, and event space. Still plenty to do, as you can see!
