Lineage Warehouse Rotting food smell returns! Made the mistake of opening a window in the kitchen…and kitchen now smells like rotting food. Stepped outside to confirm. Ewww.

The purpose of studying anything isn't the subject itself but to learn how to *think* like an expert about it. People outsourcing their thinking to genAI are not learning how to think, at all. Part of the cognitive atrophy that genAI immediately induces is no longer being able to understand this

I read Upton Sinclair’s “The Jungle” which led to the creation of the FDA. Never thought I’d live through a time where food safety agencies were actively weakened. They want to privatize everything including food safety.

I wonder if all the odor smells are also driving the coyotes crazy looking for carcass. It's already been an issue with more coyotes around Alhambra, and earlier today saw an alert (citizen app) about a woman being chased by coyotes not that far away.

Lineage Warehouse Fire is out, but now we all get Lineage Warehouse Rotten Food Odor - smelled it in Alhambra. Eww. 🤢🤮 Wearing my N95 mask 😷 outside helped though.

Tech industry relies a lot on the work of immigrants, not just H1B's but many, many people from all over the world, including Latin America which has many countries that are friendly toward the USA.

Being oldest adult child of low income working class immigrant parents is helping them regulate their fears, worry, and anxiety - all for their adult children - that come from raising a family with decades of survivor mode + no safety net in a capitalist society.

#DeepDishSwift was an amazing experience. Due to my very busy work schedule, for so many years I just felt I didn't have time to or could get the time to go to conferences like this. Refreshing + energizing to be around smart & talented folks all learning + relating on all sorts of interests.

Launch in 2020 becomes 2022, then 2024, and finally 2026, and we knew that these devices would be obsolete by the time we flew. But we already had them in hand. They were already tested. Software already developed for that platform. You make the decision that it’s good enough.
