Okay, I’m putting myself on a book buying ban. Preorders don’t count. Neither do books apart of a series I already own. Special editions also don’t count. Also ebooks definitely don’t count. Neither do any books with pages. Or any books with words. I totally got this.

Trump says the colonists had British blood, the 1776 revolutionaries’ “veins ran with Anglo-Saxon courage,” and criticized the notion that America is an idea. Echoed Vance’s blood and soil speech from last year.
ERASING HISTORY, by Jason Stanley: read this damn book. It shows how fascists weaponize education to influence the public perceptions. As a teacher in the middle of attempt to control, I’m impacted by its reality. This is mandatory reading for all Americans.
