The way many tendencies within our organization treat our members who are unable to attend meetings consistently betrays a troubling elitist attitude Members are not missing meetings because they are afraid to touch grass, it’s because they are parents, have second jobs, uncertain work hours, etc!

Cliff Connolly, a National Political Committee member from the caucus Marxist Unity Group, says the following on Twitter: 1. Most NPC members already want to endorse AOC 2. Every version of what we’re voting on today includes an all-member poll, the question is should it be online or at a meeting 3. DSA chapters should organize for & expect regular public engagement with elected officials they endorse — it’s an important part of collective organization & building toward co-governance against a hostile establishment. Looking forward to seeing what’s discussed here

This video might make you mad. You might want to throw your device across the room stick your fingers in your years and scream. “YOU VOTED FOR A FACIST. DIDN’T YOU SEE THE RALLY?” They voted for Trump not bc of that but despite it. They’re persuadable. There is a way forward. We can win.

This is a BALLSY video for any Dem to make, let alone a DSA-endorsed candidate for NYC mayor. But it's a real sign that the left is doing the introspection we need to bring us back to our multiracial, class-struggle populist roots. Zohran is proving to be an AMAZING candidate.
