I was a board artist. I'm now a director. I've been given drawings that were just a circle with two eyes and a mouth but I got it. I've GIVEN drawings that didn't even have two eyes a mouth! Literally a rectangle with a letter on it on one side of the frame and it came back perfect! It's fine!

There is no need to use AI. Hand it to a storyboard artist and they might even have better ideas than what you thought of!
