In Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels, green trampolines make Mario jump so high he goes offscreen for 6 seconds. By extracting his position values from the code, we can "zoom out" the stage and visualize his actual arc, which reveals just how absurdly high the jump is.

Sometimes I do think of posting here again, but I admit that I'm worried about getting back into the flow of doomscrolling. I don't really do well with more serious topics especially about like, what's happening out there. That sucks a lot.

Guess it's been about a month since I've stopped majorly posting on here I do think generally it was healthier. Turns out fandom spaces are pretty damn awful for your brain! But yeah, I guess sometimes days do get pretty empty when I don't post random bullshit. Hoping everyone still on here is well.

In Donkey Kong Bananza, signs appear that indicate that Tiny Kong owns a bank. The official German website for Donkey Kong 64 claimed she was a tax official and managed the savings of DK Island. Whether giving her a finance-related job is a deep cut reference or an astounding coincidence is unknown.

In Donkey Kong Bananza, a particular location is filled with billboards referencing various Kongs. Tiny Kong's reference is through signs for a bank she apparently owns. NAME: TINY KONG OCCUPATION: TAX OFFICIAL HOBBIES: TOOTING THE SAXOPHONE, FASHION FAVORITE DISH: WATCHES HER WEIGHT, ONLY EXTRA-LIGHT MEALS FAVORITE MOVIE: BANANIC GREATEST HERO: KONGIA SCHIFFER OCCUPATION: TAX OFFICIAL the island and that is out of the question for Tiny. Instead she prefers to juggle numbers and manages the banana coins savings and the financial system of the island. The official 1999 German Nintendo of Europe website for Donkey Kong 64 claims that Tiny Kong's job is being a tax official on DK Island. She also "manages the banana coins savings", making her very well suited to run a bank. Donkey Kong Bananza contains several extremely deep-cut lore references, so while it is unlikely the writers were referencing this specifically, it is not entirely out of the question. These guys are called FLORADINN. You can think of them like the “Rudinn” of Chapter 5. Their favorite thing is FLOWERS. They usually don’t get what’s going on, but they are chill and don’t care. I like these guys.
