I am so full of cool ideas for the channel and the lab! Thank you #OSPARK organizers @digiresacademy.bsky.social and participants! There were two amazing days of learning and interacting for a common goal: promote #openscience and #FAIR principles.

Getting to know more about bacterial toxins under Open Science and FAIR Data principles.
Does anyone located in Europe can share with us the Bacillus subtilis strains 168 or the B. Subtilis WB600 and their expression vectors? 🧫 🙏 If you do, please send me a message so I can contact you for the details. Thank you! 🧪 #microbiology #protein_expression
My favorite tool #Opencloning.org has just released a feature for assembling golden gate cloning fragments. I have not used it **yet**, but I've used the In-Fusion tool, and that ones has worked amazingly. Give it a try! I am sure @manu-lera.bsky.social will be happy to hear from your experience.
I got a plasmid map from another lab as *.dna file 🧪. The SnapGene program can open it. I do not want to install their "free" viewer in my linux system. The solution: OpenCloning opencloning.org . With it, I loaded the .dna file and downloaded the sequence plus a nice map. Thanks OpenCloning team 🤩

Buffer is ready. Hmm. can I sterilize it in the autoclave? When the answer is no, the next best option is to do a sterile filtration. It's not a big deal, but it's easy to do it wrong. Here is our protocol! 🧪 Sterile filtration of liquid solutions www.protocols.io/view/sterile...
