Well that was carnage. Brighton allowed me to buy tickets in the Roma stand and wouldn’t let us in. 40 mins later they replaced our tickets but we’d missed 35 mins of the first half. And to add insult to injury they’ve replace piglets pies with substandard higgledy pies @officialbha.bsky.social
I emailed @dj-acid-reflux.bsky.social and asked him to send me the most random book he’d written as a respite from the reading of my PhD.. this arrived this morning and I am half way through it already. It’s absolute genius. I’m laughing and agree nodding as I read it. Random as fuck and I love it

This is incredible, I lost my Mum to melanoma 22 years ago. She’d been cancer free for 15 years and suddenly it returned in her liver. She was dead within months.

FIVE years later, NEARLY 70% of people in the vaccine group are CANCER-FREE. The vaccine also cut a person’s risk of the cancer metastasizing by NEARLY 60%.

The excitement grew as you arrived and could smell the books. Seeing the rows and rows felt overwhelming but in the best way. Get a library card if you don't have one!

Cheap rent. Affordable food. Easy to get jobs. Real creativity. Families and friends actually really communicated. Backyard cookouts. I miss it.
