I find it incredibly odd that this is how many people are finding out about the existence of the Famicom Box. As a sidenote, this is basically the only notable product released in Japan to use the Nintendo Entertainment System branding, but it's still called a Famicom for some reason.

During PRGE 2025, I was lucky enough to get my hands on a label for an unlicensed NES game that never came out. Hellraiser by Color Dreams was promoted in the early 1990s but afterwards faded in obscurity. No build of the game has surfaced but other material was produced including cartridge labels.

We have reached 2,000 main space pages on FamiWiki! This was possible thanks to the active contributors to FamiWiki who've also expanded many of these pages.

Prior to 2023, famiwiki.net was a genealogy resource website which offered a free family tree builder. This lasted roughly from 2010 to 2016 as the domain expired. 7 years later, it would be picked up by us for our Famicom wiki website.

Over 3 years ago the wiki site I co-founded @famiwiki.net went online for the very first time and was the beginning of contributing to the ultimate English resource for anything Famicom on the internet. Even in its current state FamiWiki represents the Famicom in a greater context than other sites.

@famiwiki.net is officially two years old! As an anniversary gift of sorts the page for Family Computer was beefed up with more info on its history. This text comes from the WikiBound page for the Nintendo Entertainment System but was removed, however I got permission to move the contents over.
