When we say that the Israeli gov is cruel at its core, and that it in fact finds joy in its cruelty, we are talking about things like wishing to surround Palestinian prisoners with literal crocodiles. There is no end to this if Israel itself never faces political and economic consequences.

Two years ago the ICJ issued its finding that Israel must "rapidly" end its presence in the occupied territories and that all states should not render aid to that occupation. The UK hasn't even bothered to respond to it, despite numerous calls. icj-cij.org/case/186
Hmmmm, that's weird. This seems to have been buried in the news cycle. When this kind of thing has happened to other religious minorities in the UK, there have usually been instant COBR meetings and the prime minister has addressed the nation on TV. I'm sure they are getting round to it, though.
