when you are an author (or a student) putting in texts even "just for editing" into gen-AI, you are at risk of plagiarism bec this is how the algorithm works. in old-fashioned academic integrity lingo, you participate a mass "collusion". we end up with 30 essays with the same structure & argument

Here are some thoughts on the Palestine Action ruling for the @lrb.co.uk. The ruling shows the importance of the UK Government's national security assessments being challenged - which doesn't happen enough under our current system.
