Following on from my last D&D hive mind request…session zero for the town that will be their base, the kids at school group asked for it to have a museum. What should a museum in a D&D town have in it?

Just watched Louis Malle’s Viva Maria - first saw it on TV a long time ago. Barbarella meets Duck You Sucker meets Warner Bros cartoons - manages mood swings and genre-bends like a dancer. Some nice cinematography and use of landscape. And Lumiere Romford showed it in the original French.

Brigitte Bardot and Jeanne Moreau in lovely frocks, with a Vickers gun. Relevant to my interests.

“Yo! Mohamed’s found a landmark!” Been out with school’s Duke of Edinburgh Award students on their training day. Great kids, good attitude. We only had one hailstorm.

Still thinking about Friedkin’s Sorcerer two months on. Scottish Ballet’s Mary Queen of Scots which we saw on Friday will likewise be with me a long time. Great art does that, whatever the medium.
