This is the artwork I created for the recent EU fanfest art contest. Didn't make it into the final selection, but I like how it turned out, so I thought this would be a good moment to share it :)

I love how scalpers act like they own pokemon cards now. like "this isn't a kid's game anymore" like yes it is. it's still a kids game that used to be easily accessible to kids until you ruined it. it's not and never was for you to hoard.

reading about the 1929 stock market crash is just a collection of absurdly selfish, often already wealthy white men brazenly making the worst decisions possible in the name of lining their own pockets at the expense of literally everyone else
