Fuck the games industry btw. I'm not just saying this as a nerd but as someone who pursued/had a career in game dev at one point. The constant uncertainty and abuse is why mental health and substance use problems are rampant among game devs. I lost two close industry friends because of this culture

Another small prototype, where you fly around in a mode7-style fake 3D world. (After all these years of making 3D projects I still legit barely understand how #GameMaker's 3D system works lol) Sadly tile layers don't render properly in 3D so the ground must be an asset layer. #gamedev #indiedev

Getting funding for a game is difficult. Getting Kickstarter backing seems impossible because of wildly skewed expectations. Let me explain... So, for Eldritch 2, I'd be working alone. I'd ask for the lower end of my usual contract rate × the number of months I expect it'll take to finish the game.
