Since releasing Just Shop Mode I've had this itch to make its opposite, where nothing you do in the shop generates income, and you have to rely on creatively exploiting the external game world to make money. I'd call it Final Profit: A ---- RPG

the other day i had to help my nephew untangle an xbox360 controller cable, to which he remarked "i don't know how to do that, i'm only used to wireless controllers" i don't have anything too poignant to say about it, but it buried into my mind. here's some keywords instead. time, aging, teaching.

i find this line of thought is common in negative reviews. i think it's something of an achievement to make a game where players are having so much fun that when they run out of things to do the reaction is this visceral. but also, dang this species suffers hard from recency bias.

Gamers will genuinely post "i loved this game. played 1000+ hours over the last two years. But then it stopped being fun, which is a crime" and think it's normal, and reasonable

not this one. about as far from it as possible with development happening in near total isolation during lockdown. scraped by on savings and had to launch when that was depleted.
