The HP franchise was such a big part of my childhood and adult hood I was known as the HP nerd. Even before coming out as trans, I had to, for my own sanity, push all that aside even though it was such a massive comfort to me. Sacha explains my feelings much better than I do, so do take a look ❤️

My relationship with those books is more than nostalgia... You couldn't pay me to spend a single second of my finite life on supporting the franchise today.

Every time I’m trying to change my name & gender to new details they assume I’m a trans woman so I have to explain & it’s anxiety inducing. I’m so glad I pass, I know I’m fortunate to have this privilege but also I really hope trans women are given the respect they deserve in these situations
