As of this week, hundreds of thousands of Haitians lost their legal status. Most have lost work permits as well. That's left many people unable to support themselves. Here is a verified link to a fundraiser supporting Haitians in Springfield. Please drop links to other fundraisers in the replies.

Imagine if you mailed the IRS a check to pay your taxes, but they left their mail unopened for years and then arrested you for failure to pay taxes. That’s effectively what ICE is doing to increasing numbers of people now; people out of status only because of GOVERNMENT delay.

with the State, and an incentive to put Rowan at further risk. This has caused deep mental anguish for them, a grief they can only express in vague terms on the phone. Being housed with state agents creates a dangerous situation that makes Rowan’s state case even more (2/3)

KEEP CALLING!! After returning from sentencing on July 1, Rowan Gibson was moved to an infirmary cell and forced to share it with cooperating witness Lynette Sharp. Days later, cooperating witness Susan Kent was also moved in with them. These people have ongoing agreements (1/3)

GEN POP NOW FOR ALL! KEEP CALLING! Follow the slides for who to call and what to say. We need people to call and submit to us any information you gather. Cryptpad is in the bio. The last phone zap worked out but not for everyone. Defendants are still being subjected to (1/2)

JUDGEBOEDEKER@JOHNSONCOUNTYTX.ORGHello, I’m calling on behalf of people incarcerated here who are facing horrendous conditions. All of the Prairieland defendants need to be moved to general population immediately.

Holding people in administrative seg violates due process. Are you aware of that? (Wait for response). Maricela Rueda and Zachary Evetts are being held in administrative seg yet they have no disciplinaries against them. They need to be placed in general population immediately.

Are you aware that cross gender strip searches are a PREA violation? (wait for response). Then why are female guards bragging about stripping down male bodies? Why has Benjamin Song been strip searched by a female guard who later gave Song a disciplinary?

Meagan Morris needs to be put in general population. As a trans woman, she is vulnerable being in a cell by herself and needs to be with other incarcerated people who do not have such power over her body.

millions of fireworks will go off in the next 48 hours. the protest at the center of the Prairieland case last July 4th — a year ago tomorrow — was a noise demo setting off fireworks for the detainees inside the ICE facility. did you know the federal government categorized fireworks as explosives?

8 of the federal defendants who were sentenced to outrageously long terms are ALSO a part of a larger group of defendants fighting state terrorism charges. In total 20 people are still fighting various state charges. 6 defendants' have trial dates set in the next 3 to 6 months. While appealing their unjust federal verdicts and sentences, these 8 defendants will also have to fight their state cases in Johnson County. We still need good state lawyers to fight these cases so continue to donate to the legal fund, host fundraisers, and spread the word about the case. One of the state defendants, Janette Goering, wrote a statement about the sentencing of the federal defendants. Here is her statement:Graphic with first part of Janette’s statement.Graphic with second part of Janette’s statement.

Liz Soto and Savanna Batten are 2 of those sentenced to 50 years in prison for Prairieland. I visited them in a north Texas jail—11 months into their incarceration over a July 4 noise demo—to meet the Trump admin’s “Antifa terrorists”. from behind glass, Soto said, “They didn’t like my book club.”

Advocates sound alarm after zines were used as evidence to convict protesters of terrorism charges tied to 2025 protest at Texas ICE facility

We, the Free Des Support Committee, remain steadfastly by Des’s side. We’ve been there from the beginning, & we’re not going anywhere, until he & the other Prairieland defendants go free. Zines are not a crime. Solidarity is not a crime. Free Des Revol. Free them all. freedes.net @free.des.revol

Please keep watching for the Prairieland defendants' state trials. 20 people have state charges related to this case. While today's federal sentences are horrific, they are not the end. Texas also seeks to make examples of the Prairieland defendants, but we cannot let them. This fight is not over.

The Prairieland defendants' state trials are all set in Johnson County, the same county where the sheriff Adam King was just indicted after being arrested for a third time on March 26 in connection to an ongoing sexual harassment case. bsky.app/profile/star...
