If you can all start spamming me with WHEN IS THE TRAILER OUT posts like you did Chibbo back in the day, that might annoy me into finishing editing one...
Treat yourself to a tasty small mammal if you got these! Answers: 1. The Hand Of Fear (that owl is a plushy) 2. Image Of The Fendahl (the only actual owl) 3. Rogue (that owl is an alien or sutin) 4. Wish World (that owl is a dad)
Give a hoot, it's International Owl Awareness Day! Yes, it is. Test your international owl awareness by naming the Doctor Who stories from each of these screencaps.

Listen to me and future First Question contestant Graham discussing The Good Ship Murder, a cosy whodunnit show where Shayne Ward solves a crime then sings a song at the end. Yes, really.
Also, while we are on the subject of podcast. Join Graham and @markharrison.bsky.social as they chat about UK TV's #theGoodShip, a show they describe as the maddest murder mystery on British TV #podernfamily Listen and Subscribe here: open.spotify.com/episode/2XNC...
Answers! These are all from Doctor Who episodes that originally went out in August, of course, including: 1. The Dominators 2. The Leisure Hive 3. Let's Kill Hitler 4. Into The Dalek
It's August and there's no new Doctor Who on telly, but then there very rarely was. For this month's first picture quiz, name the episode/serial in each screencap!
This is still so funny to me. David Tennant, in 2007: nice and encouraging to an aspiring actor on a phone-in David Fourteenant, in 2022: eat shit Nathan, I'm the Doctor

Have a listen to me waffling about Anne Robinson stamping on jokes, Turlough's enthusiastic surrendering, and Bernard Cribbins (always) being an absolute legend.
On the latest episode of #DoctorWho Too Hot For TV, I am joined by @markharrison.bsky.social to talk about the Doctor Who themed episodes of The Weakest Link and Never Mind the Buzzcocks, before taking a look at the Big Finish audio Power Game. linktr.ee/Dylan_Rees

OK, one for the classic fans today - name the Doctor Who monster from its action figure! Points for correct answers, and for the best wrong ones...
It occurred to me when I was watching #CityOfDeath the other day that Scarlioni's complicated plan to rob the Louvre seems funny now, given that he could have gone up a ladder and in and out through the window in broad daylight

Made another Doctor Who app thing, mostly to practice CSS (the code that determines how the website actually looks). Essentially it's a 'Get a Random Story to Watch' app. andrewblair.co.uk/apps/randomi...

Jonny Thickhands should have been a recurring villain. Kids in the playground on Monday morning just slapping each other as hard as they can and shouting his catchphrase "watch ittt..."
The offspring of Elon Musk and the Mekon, Matt Berry, Jonny Thickhands, and minor character from John Waters' adaptation of Mad Max
Any takers on this one? Answers at noon otherwise...
Cracking open the toy box for today's picture quiz... name the New Who character from their action figure! Points for getting it right, but also points for the best wrong answers.
R.I.P. Tom Chadbon. Seen here with Tom Baker and Lalla Ward in Doctor Who: City of Death - Part One by David Agnew (29th September 1979)
What a sad day. Raising a glass to that very fine actor Tom Chadbon, who graced every franchise from James Bond to Blake’s 7 to Game of Thrones, and whose brilliant comic turn as Duggan, the out-of-his-depth private detective in the 1979 Doctor Who classic City of Death, is the stuff of TV legend.
We were very sorry to read of the death of Bill Oddie, who was a magnificent Red Jasper in Doctor Who and the Pirates, recorded in 2003. Our condolences to his family and friends.

The First Question is a brand new podcast where we talk about a Doctor Who story and then make up a gameshow about it. ❤️❤️➕❓ Season 1 starts on Saturday 15th August, with new episodes every week.
Dammit just realised the podcast won’t be based on recognising pictures
