Legs Race

Gup is standing in a beach area. Trout walks towards him, and his legs are twice as large as usual.
"Oh, 'sup Small Fry. I almost didn't see you there, what with my Extremely Long Legs and all."

cut to a dry forest area, Gup is walking in with even larger legs, to Trout's chagrin.
"Ah, what a good day to stretch out the ol' legs! I would hate to be someone getting caught having shorter legs than I do!"

Later, in a green wooded area, Gup muses about how he bested his rival.

"Heh, I bet Trout is still all cut up about me having longer legs than he does."

Gup proceeds to get bonked by a Really Long Leg, so large that the bearer is offscreen.

"Oh my goodness! I am so sorry young lad! My legs are just Too Freaking Huge for me to see!"

This comic has always been grounded in reality.

Gup is streaming like he was in the last comic, except this time he is playing Super Mario Bros. on NES, and Fishopon is watching behind him.

"Is this all there is to streaming, just you playing a game while other people watch?" Fishopon asks.

"I can interact with the chat" Gup offers.

"Ohh ok so they can influence the stream! Alright chat, do something funny!" Fishopon implores.

"Someone just redeemed the 'No meta jokes for 30 mins' challenge!' Gup exclaims.

Gup and Fishopon are standing in the mountains, with nothing weird or wacky going on.

"wait weren't we just-" Fishopon starts.

"Nope!" Gup cuts her off.

Gamer Gup

Gup is in a little box in the corner of the each panel, sitting in a Male Living Space, and wearing headphones.

"Hey what is up my school of fintastic fishheads! This is Lexecuter9 coming at you with another fabulous LIVE stream!"

Gup moves from the title screen of the game he is playing, showing off his cool purple car.

"and yep, that's right, we're playing more Tokyo Xtreme Racer (2025)!"

Gup then proceeds to play the game, racing through the highways of Tokyo, completely in silence.

Gup hmmphs in response.

"You know, Gup, you don't have to let that kind of stuff get to you," Fishopon attempts to console him, "One day, people will look back at us as bringing fishkind to a new era."

Gup pauses and looks back to her, "Why do I have to wait? Why can't everyone just start telling me how great I am right now?"

Good for what ails ye.

Fishest Gup is walking by a river. There is an unscrupulous orange Business Fish with a mustache at a wooden stand in the river that has 'Ye Olde' written on it. Off to the side there are three small fish around a bottle of unknown liquid.

He beckons Gup over by announcing "Come on up and get some genuine Seasoned Elixir! Good for what ails ye."

"Sure!" Gup responds enthusiastically.

"Here you go, that'll be 5 shells. Pleasure doing Business with you!" the Business fish hands Gup a bottle like the one the smaller fish have.

"Hey, this is just saltwater. Like, from the ocean" Gup notices, after having completed the transaction. The smaller fish turn their attention towards Gup.

"Shh! These freshwater hicks don't know that! You'll ruin the whole scheme!" the Business fish urgently whispers.

The Creatures.

Fishest Gup is walking beside some buildings, humming to himself.

"La la la... going to get some food... Hey, didn't there used to be the Popeyes over here?"

Fresno, who was walking the other way across the sidewalk, turns and explains, "Oh, we had to shut that place down. Because of the Creatures."

"Creatures? What creatures? Aren't you Creatures?" Gup objects, confused.

"Go to the dumpster out back and you will see."

Gup walks over to the dumpster. There is a plump rat sitting in front of it.

"My name is Fishest Gup," Gup starts to introduce himself.

"Are you here to bring us chicken sandwiches?" the rat asks.

"No?" Gup responds, once again confused.

"Rats," says the rat.

Gup and Fishopon are standing on a rocky beach by the ocean.

Fishopon asks: Imagine if you were offered hundreds of millions of dollars to use your image to promote products, would you do it?

Gup: Is there a downside?

Fishopon: Well, you'd kinda lose ownership over your identity and be forever associated with the things they want you to sell.

Gup: I'd probably cry myself to sleep every night with my pile of cash.

Fishopon: So you would do it?

Gup: idk, has anyone ever needed millions of dollars for anything?

Fishopon: That's a good question. No, I don't think so.

Gup: Maybe I'd do it for less, since I won't need that much.

An old lady customer at a grocery store walks up to a retail employee with cat ears and glasses and asks, "Hello Retail Employee, where is the Peanut Butter?"

The Retail Employee responds, "Oh, it's right there, actually!" pointing to right behind the customer.

The customer says, "Thanks!" and then walks down the aisle in the wrong direction.

When my wife and I had just married, she crafted this Hoi plushie for me. 😊💚 As we married uhm… a 'few' years ago, the condition of the plushie has declined, but I thought it's fun to post here. My wife wants me to emphasize that it was a quick prototype, not a finalized creation. 🙂
