The excuse I was given? “It’s because of the pizza place”, which made me wonder aloud if Boushy Sq. being closed to traffic gives people permission to break the law. He had no answer for that, strangely. What Centretown needs is traffic enforcement in a neighbourhood where <50% of residents drive.
OPS members have used naloxone 26 times this year, successfully reversing 25 overdoses. In contrast, Ottawa's supervised consumption sites ran for 9 years and had a perfect record for reversing overdoses: zero fatalities in four facilities. Cops aren't good at this work. Reopen the sites.

Anytime L2.0 gets mentioned, so should this: Waterfall revenue projections were based on 6% expected annual revenue growth from OSEG from '24–'29, anticipating improved on-field performance will increase attendance numbers. Attendance is down *16.6%* this season, the Redblacks are a CFL-worst 0-9.

This doesn't really feel like a public consultation.
