Bad jokes & bad opinions about music & gaming. Consider muting #TOTP. He/him.

I got overexcited by Olivia Rodrigo mentioning a World Heritage Site in "drop dead", so it's only fair that I acknowledge Taylor Swift beginning "august" with "Saltaire, and the rust on your door..."

I love "Pure Shores", the William Orbit sound and All Saints's's voices combine brilliantly for a song that - I've just been hit by the realisation that I may just like it because it sounds like video game water level music #TOTP

I am on the record as a fan of "talkie bits" but even I find myself slightly taken aback by RAYE's album THIS MUSIC MAY CONTAIN HOPE., which I think might technically qualify as an audiobook

In all the post-match analysis I'm not seeing anyone asking the important questions, ie with streams of Wonderwall and TL now presumably falling off a cliff, have Fender & Dean secured a 17th week at Number One?

I've said it before but it bears repeating: because England fans like England winning, and non-England fans like incessantly whining about how terrible England are and how they just get lucky, the most optimal outcome for the World Cup is England win in the dodgiest, most undeserved manner possible.

groove armada. what a terrifying concept. a groove squadron? sure. groove fleet? a bit excessive but I can dig it. but an armada? dangerous amount of groove. potentially lethal in the wrong hands.

#TheN0ughtie5 Day 33 18. GROOVE ARMADA ft MUTYA BUENA - “Song 4 Mutya (Out Of Control)” (07, UK) Don’t panic Mutya!! Evangelising this onto a Pitchfork end of year list remains my most significant contribution to music criticism youtu.be/FY5NYBRMurk?...
