Q: There was universal condemnation across Nebraska for your choice to import 300,000 tons of foreign beef. What's your message to ranchers struggling to make a profit? Trump: We brought some in from Argentina and Brazil because we have to get elected

Democrats caved and/or facilitated this monopolization of practically every major media property in the US into the hands of a MAGA fascist psychopath. If the US had an opposition party, each of its presidential contenders would would vow to dissolve this monopoly by any means necessary.

I don't think the Republican Party can "go back to normal" but if it did, that just means being a vehicle for undermining government and concentrating wealth, enveloped in a bunch of dishonest obfuscatory slop. Why yearn for something to return to the exact thing that fostered it

I'm just gonna bookmark this for future reference when Dem pundits complain about how the party has trouble communicating its message to voters. The reason you keep running into trouble with your branding isn't campus radicals. The reason is that your opponents purchased all the media outlets.

Breaking News: Paramount officially closed its deal to acquire Warner Bros. Discovery, creating a vast media empire.

I promise you, there are Democrats in congress right now who still believe it is possible to go back to before Trump. It is not. Republicans are spending Trump’s term as Vought intended. They are intentionally breaking government in as many places as they can to make going back impossible.

Openly provoking a foreign adversary to kill millions of Americans is completely unhinged and reckless. Donald Trump is the most dangerous and corrupt president in our nation’s history. The stakes are too high to send him another yes vote from Minnesota.

Trump: "With the war, it's just artificial. It's a little bit high. It's a small price to pay ... let them take out Los Angeles, let them take out San Diego. This is a very small price to pay."

Just a reminder: Tillis persuaded the woman Hegseth allegedly raped to come forward with her story, and told her that if she did, it would sink the nomination. She did. At great risk to herself. Tillis then cast the deciding vote for Hegseth. Because he’s a goddamned coward.

Outgoing Sen. Tillis regrets pivotal vote for Hegseth: ‘He’s an actor. He’s not a manager’

Outgoing Sen. Thom Tillis spoke to MS NOW about regretting his vote to confirm Pete Hegseth and his strained relationship with Trump.

...when the much more straightforward strategy is to go to those voters and say "The Republicans you keep voting for? They think you're stupid, they lied to you, they conned you, they screwed up everything, and you should be ENRAGED at them."

the bulk majority of declines is happening- the markets are being manipulated in new ways- fuel tax suspensions, and arm twisting G7 into releasing strategic supplies of refined products, not exactly the most organic decline

I'm not naive enough to actually believe this will happen, but Democrats could be preparing, right now, lists of impeachment charges against (at a bare minimum) Hegseth, Kennedy, Mullin, Patel, Blanche, & Trump, as well as Bondi, Bovino, & Noem (still worth doing!) that rely purely on public facts,

such that the impeachment votes could be held seriatim on day one of a new Congress. There could be fifty different charges against Trump. Let the Senate try ' em all. Establish that violations of the War Powers Act, the Budget and Impoundment Act, or the Antideficiency Act are impeachable.

Trump’s TIME interview should have been treated about like Biden’s debate performance. That it mostly wasn’t says a lot about the media’s ongoing normalization of Trump’s cognitive downward spiral.
