Abdul El-Sayed’s win represents a big blow to the politics of bygone days. Because if one campaign can show that *that* much money and *that* much old guard support doesn’t guarantee victory, it cracks open what can be imagined. It widens the aperture of what’s possible.

A huge win for the good guys. If it was a win by 10% instead of 2% I could’ve gone to bed earlier, but a huge success no matter what to defeat $70 million in ads that outspent them 10 times over. A Dem Senate primary in a key battleground state being won by a pro-Palestinian candidate is major

An initiative on the ballot in Washington state in November would require all athletes seeking to play girl's sports from kindergarten to high school to undergo "genetic screening, a testosterone-levels test, or an examination of their reproductive anatomy" before they can play

The Campaign to Force Genital Exams on Girl Athletes Soon Washington State could require sex-verification tests for those playing sports in schools.
