I really really want to understand why people enjoy Ursula K LeGuin's work. Every now and again, her stuff shows up in "Best of Sci Fi <YEAR>". I never enjoy it. Nothing ever happens in the stories. The characters are not relatable, and most damningly, there's no sci fi to it.

I think one of the things that is making AI really hard for me is I would rather do the work correctly, than review if the work is correct enough. I don't want to have to keep micromanaging an AI away from bad patterns.
