Just for fun, this is basically a music video I made with comments from the Washington Times for my IG. I find the Socialism Panic happening now so fascinating (and frustrating). On the right, old Cold War Hawks haven’t evolved. On the “left,” Democrats fear the DSA more than the GOP.

I shoulda made the connection before. The Nerd Right believes absurd Russian propaganda claims that the Ukrainian government is illegitimate since color revolutions are all entirely astroturf’d by the US for unspecified nefarious reasons.

Voter awareness, registration, the creation of courses on civics, democracy, IIRC there were even some on the benefits of free markets in free democratic societies. Musk, however, thinks USAID was planning, organizing, & leading color revolutions. 4/

This isn’t just losing a filter. This is people re-arranging their entire lives around bigotry. How they see the world. Who they relate to. They alienate friends and loved ones and develop parasocial relationships online centered on hate. Is anyone studying this?

Paying for a privacy focused tech stack is worth it. I've been a Proton subscriber since 2018, but there are others out there. (Never assume anything you do electronically is truly private, though.)

Everywhere I look, whether it's a warzone, refugee camp, or some comfortable Western city, it is women and girls who are taking the full blow from every conflict and criminal organization, whether it's being hunted for sport, mass raped, trafficked, disappeared, or dehumanized as property.
