I can easily imagine a future where I take in all the disabled queer youth and tuck them under my wings. As a disabled queer elder, I just worry that the caretaking will not have enough institutional support to make it sustainable for me. But these kids deserve safety and a soft landing.

We really suffer in this country from the fact that people do not understand protest or social movements AT ALL. You see it daily. I don't blame people for it but it's true. The way that history is taught for example in schools helps to mystify both.
