Husband. Dad to 2 fur babies. Podcaster, but not the alpha bro kind. Superman fan. Batman fan. Hulk fan.

I assure you, sir, ma’am, or they, that this is far from the strangest decision made during Byrne’s Superman run. I disagree with the assertion anyway, but there are far stranger decisions during those two years.

Stumbled across a Batman Day video over on FB where they were asking various creators questions about Batman and @gregrucka.com was one of them! That made me happy. And it’s something that wouldn’t have happened before a certain former executive left the company.

No context unless you know what I’m talking about but if Alan Scott can come out later in life and we accept it as his truth then we can definitely accept Joan Garrick doing the same.

One of the reasons I haven’t kept up with the MCU all that much since Endgame is feeling like I “have”’ to watch something if I want to watch something else. In the pre-Endgame days I wanted to watch all of the films because it was fun. Not so much anymore. www.wired.com/story/marvel...

Hi, I'm Michael Bailey, a retail supervisor that also podcasts frequently & writes occasionally I’m married with two older poodles. I love the bridge in Therapy?’s Stop It You’re It You’re Killing Me. It comes out of nowhere and sounds nothing like the rest of the song but still fits somehow.

Hi, I'm Justin Steiner, a 5th grade teacher and occasional music writer. I am 33 years married with a son who's almost 30 and a dog who's 5. I like in "Mower" where out of the haze of the bridge Jon Wurster slams the drum three times and Superchunk kicks back in and goes crazy.

Six minutes into Supergirl. The 2026 movie that is. For a film that has a more recent graphic novel as its source material this opening gives more of a “Joe Kelly’s early issues of Supergirl from 2006/07” vibe.

Currently reading this for con prep and it’s been an interesting ride. The world of the 1989 Batman film is light on story and large on mood, setting, and music, so there is a lot that could be added. 1/
