Anyone who can, should definitely support webworm and David. I know the ofmd fam is great at supporting worthy causes, and if you have the means, please support David. You can subscribe or give a one-time donation. Paying 20k just to defend yourself is outrageous tbh.

webworm has won a frivolous lawsuit brought against it by james sved, the US husband of kiwi-born anna wilding, who ran for US congress this year. it cost about $20,000 to defend. this piece is behind a paywall, because how do you think webworm survives shit like this?! www.webworm.co/thepretender15

Amazing read about a woman who took a (apparently very common) childhood obsession with digging tunnels and turned it into a hyperfixation on a level people on here could only dream of. Articles like these are the perks of subscribing to Webworm ✨

Chapter 5: As Below So Above Emerging from the tunnel, we trek back through Kala's house to the backyard. On the way back through, I notice how dusty everything is. One of the downsides to having a tunnel under your house, I suppose. Kala takes me into her backyard. It’s bright and sweaty up here, and bugs are biting my skin. None of these problems existed underground. “These are my castle building blocks that I mined from a local quarry,” she says, pointing to a carefully stacked pile of very large, brick-like stones. [There is a photo underneath the text showing the back façade of a house with regular wood siding, and an attached extension built with burnt clay bricks. There's a big stack of granite rock blocks in front of the original house, similar to the ones you would use to build a castle.]

I’m back! I saw your messages on here & elsewhere—thank you all <3. I’m deeply disappointed in @bsky.app moderation; equating pushback against people like JKR with the harm they cause to trans ppl only enables more violence. I’ll talk more soon but even a day away from social media has been healthy.

I've been trying to catch a pigeon for 2 days and I finally caught it! Nothing nefarious, he just has a broken foot and needs to go to the doctor, but somehow he knew I was trying to catch him and was incredibly skittish as a result 💀
